Token Issuance Process: Token Launch and Liquidity Addition Based on the Swap Model

Below is the detailed process for creating a DOU and issuing a Token in RuleOS:

1. Select a DOU

In RuleOS, Tokens are tied to a DOU since Tokens fundamentally serve as the economic tool for a DOU, much like stocks for a company.

  • If you are issuing a Token in the "Guided" mode, you need to select a DOU that you have created.

  • If you are launching a Token within your DOU, the system will automatically default to the DOU you are currently in.

2. Select a Blockchain

At this step, you need to choose a blockchain network for issuing your Token, such as Binance Smart Chain (BSC) or Ethereum (ETH). Different blockchain networks have unique characteristics and use cases.

3. Enter the Token Name

Next, you need to provide a full name for your Token, such as Ethereum.

  • This is the official name of your Token, representing its brand and identity.

  • It is recommended to choose a name that is easy to recognize and aligns with the goals of your DOU.

4. Enter the Token Symbol

The Token Symbol is the simplified identifier for your Token, such as ETH.

  • This is the symbol users will see in wallets or on exchanges, usually a shortened version of the full name.

  • It is recommended to select a simple, memorable, and unique symbol.

5. Enter a Token Description

The Token Description provides a brief explanation of the Token’s purpose.

  • Since a DOU may issue multiple Tokens for different purposes, it is necessary to clearly describe the specific use case of this Token.

  • For example:

    • “Holding this Token allows participation in DOU governance voting.”

    • “This Token can be used to pay for services within the DOU.”

    • “This Token serves as a reward mechanism for the DOU, distributed to users upon task completion.”

Upload a logo for your Token to make it more recognizable.

  • It is recommended to use a high-quality image that aligns with your DOU’s branding.

7. Select a Launch Mode

Here, select the Swap Mode as an example.

  • Swap Mode: Similar to the traditional concept of "paid-in capital," this mode sets the price of your Token and adds liquidity through actual payments. This is the most commonly used method in blockchain.

  • Launchpad Mode: A method that does not require actual payments for pricing, suitable for specific scenarios or user groups.

8. Configure the Tokenomics

Tokenomics refers to the economic model of the Token, determining its distribution and usage.

  • If you are unsure how to configure the Tokenomics, you can choose from the following preset options:

    • Preset 1: 100% of the Tokens go to your wallet

      • Suitable for beginners or those who want to test the Token first.

    • Preset 2: 80% of the Tokens are used for adding liquidity via Swap, and 20% go to the treasury

      • Suitable for those who wish to add liquidity while reserving some Tokens for the treasury.

    • Custom Mode: Freely configure the Token distribution

      • Suitable for those with specific distribution needs.
